General Information - About the Physician

Dr. Robert Taylor has had a private medical practice in Brookline, Massachusetts since after graduating from Harvard Medical School in 1977. Although it is a primary care practice, he has a specialty in the diagnosis and treatment of sexually transmitted diseases (STDs) and HIV Disease. He is also the director of the Health Awareness Connection, a non-profit organization dedicated to STD/HIV Disease prevention. Dr. Taylor is actively involved in teaching these classes.


Location

Dr. Robert Taylor maintains a private practice in Brookline Massachusetts at 1755 Beacon Street. It is located at the Dean Road stop of the MBTA Green Line (C line). There is always ample free on-street parking available. Travel directions are available by calling the office at 617-232-1459.

Monday to Thursday, 9am to 6:30 pm. Friday, 9am to 4pm.

Fees

Depending on the extent of the problem and the amount of time for the appointment, an office visit usually costs between seventy-five dollars and ninety five dollars. It is payable at the time of the visit unless other arrangements are agreed on ahead of time. Many different insurance plans are accepted by the office. If laboratory tests are performed out of the office such as blood tests and cultures, the cost of them is passed on to the patient. Tests done in our office such as urinalyses are included in the office visit fee. An estimate of the total cost of a visit can be given to you at the time an appointment is scheduled.
